I'm Mel, the creator of Soy on the hill.
Soy on the hill was launched from humble beginnings over 10 years ago originally on our property in Yarrambat with the stunning views of the Yarra Ranges but with some twists and turns in 2018 it lead my family to embark on a new journey to the leafy streets of Eltham, Victoria. We feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this beautiful community and wouldn't have it any other way.
Being a mum of 3 teenage boys keeps me busy and certainly on my toes at times which makes my decision very easy to keep my business based on my property in Eltham. The juggling act of being a mum and creating a brand is now down to a fine art but don't be fooled to what we can produce in a working week ! I am fortunate enough to have some amazing clients that I have worked with from the very beginning of my journey as a candle maker.
I truly love what I do as I have always been creative as a young girl so this is a dream job for me. I love closing my front door of a morning with a coffee in hand and heading down to my workshop to start my day.
My products are designed, created and produced by myself which I am most proud of.
